Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Craft persuasive, high-converting copy across all platforms (paid ads, vsl, landing pages, email, social media, product descriptions) that resonates with target audiences and drives measurable business results.
- Develop original campaign concepts that align with brand strategy and creative direction, translating briefs into compelling narrative
- Research and synthesize insights quickly—mastering products, industries, and audience psychology to identify the strongest messaging angles
- Maintain brand voice consistency across campaigns while adapting tone and style for different audiences, platforms, and buyer journey stages
- Optimize for performance by understanding platform dynamics, SEO principles, and conversion psychology; interpret data to refine messaging and improve ROI
- Collaborate effectively with designers, strategists, and marketing teams; remain open to feedback and iterate efficiently
- Manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment, meeting tight deadlines without compromising quality or creativity
Requirements:
- Exceptional writing and editing skills with a command of grammar, tone, sentence flow, and clarity
- Proven ability to write across multiple formats and platforms, understanding the unique nuances of each (brevity for social, storytelling for long-form, urgency for ads, etc.)
- Deep understanding of marketing psychology—emotional triggers, storytelling, buyer intent, and persuasion principles
- Strong research ability and curiosity; can quickly become a product expert and translate insights into positioning
- Familiarity with SEO principles; able to integrate keywords naturally while maintaining voice and readability
- Analytical mindset—comfortable with performance metrics (CTR, engagement, conversion rates) and using data to inform creative decisions
- Thrives in collaborative, fast-paced creative environments with a growth-oriented mindset
- Proven experience with industry-standard tools: Atria, Foreplay, and AdSpy
- Hands-on experience analyzing competitor ads and market trends
- Experience with A/B testing and optimization workflows
- Familiarity with analytics platforms (Google Analytics, Facebook Ad Manager, UTM tracking)
- Portfolio of high-performing ad copy or DTC campaigns
