Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage highway construction and rehabilitation projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Review project plans, feasibility studies, and design proposals in collaboration with the project team.
- Conduct site inspections and assessments to evaluate project requirements and identify potential challenges.
- Review engineering drawings, specifications, and construction documents.
- Coordinate with foremen, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
- Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers.
- Monitor project progress, track expenses, and prepare regular progress reports for management and clients.
Requirements:
- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree or HND plus a Post Graduate Diploma in Civil Engineering.
- Professional COREN qualification is required.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in civil engineering, with a focus on highway construction and rehabilitation.
- Proven track record of successfully delivering civil engineering projects on time and within budget.
