Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Expatriate Product Development Manager located in Owode. The role involves overseeing the development and improvement of products by conducting market and industry research, identifying customer needs, and translating them into actionable product plans. The manager will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Research and Development (R&D) and Sales, to track project progress, enhance product performance, and ensure alignment with business objectives.
Qualifications
- Strong analytical skills to assess data and make informed product decisions
- Proficiency in conducting in-depth market research to identify customer needs and market trends
- Expertise in Research and Development (R&D) and Product Management activities
- Background in Sales with the ability to incorporate customer feedback into product strategies
- Leadership skills and the ability to manage cross-functional teams effectively
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Bsc
(Hons), MSc Chemistry, Applied/Industrial Chemistry, Product Development qualification with practice experience. Must have the experience in a chemical product manufacturing company.
- Experience working in expatriate or cross-cultural environments is highly desirable
