Events Centre Manager
Job summary
We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Events Centre Manager to oversee the operations of our events centre in Abeokuta. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day operations, coordinating events, supervising staff, and ensuring excellent client satisfaction. This role requires strong leadership, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to handle multiple events simultaneously.

Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of the events centre.
- Plan, coordinate, and manage events including corporate functions, weddings, conferences, and social gatherings.
- Supervise and manage the events team, ensuring high performance and professionalism.
- Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and service providers for smooth execution of events.
- Maintain the facilities, ensuring they are clean, well-maintained, and safe.
- Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to improve efficiency.
- Monitor budgets, expenses, and financial performance related to events.
- Ensure excellent customer service and client satisfaction throughout all events.
- Handle client inquiries, contracts, and event bookings professionally.
Requirements:
- Must reside in Abeokuta.
- Minimum of 3–5 years’ experience managing events or a similar facility.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent organisational and planning abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple events at the same time.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of event management software is a plus.
- Degree or diploma in Hospitality, Event Management, or related field preferred.
Remuneration: NGN 120,000 - 150,000
