Job summary
The Environmental Health Personnel is responsible for ensuring that the factory environment meets required hygiene, sanitation, and environmental health standards. The role focuses on monitoring cleaning activities, preventing contamination, and promoting a safe and healthy workplace in line with regulatory and organizational requirements.

Responsibilities:
- Monitor and supervise daily cleaning and sanitation activities within the factory
- Ensure proper cleaning of production areas, equipment, restrooms, waste zones, and staff facilities
- Confirm correct use of cleaning agents, disinfectants, and sanitation procedures
- Develop and follow cleaning schedules, checklists, and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
- Inspect the factory environment for hygiene risks, spills, pests, or contamination
- Ensure proper waste segregation, storage, and disposal
- Report hygiene gaps and recommend corrective actions
- Train cleaning staff and factory workers on hygiene and sanitation best practices
- Ensure compliance with environmental health, food safety, and workplace regulations
- Keep accurate records of cleaning logs, inspections, and corrective actions
- Liaise with management and regulatory bodies during inspections
Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in Environmental Health, Public Health, Industrial Hygiene, or related field
- Knowledge of factory sanitation, hygiene standards, and safety regulations
- Experience in manufacturing, food processing, or industrial settings is an advantage
- Ability to supervise cleaning staff and enforce standards
- Attention to detail and strong observational skills
