Entry-Level IT Support Officer
Job summary
The Entry-Level IT Support Officer will provide first-line technical support to staff, ensure smooth operation of IT systems, and assist in maintaining hardware, software, and network infrastructure within the organization.

Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support for hardware, software, and network-related issues
- Install, configure, and maintain computers, printers, and other IT equipment
- Troubleshoot system and network problems and escalate where necessary
- Support users on Microsoft Office and basic enterprise applications
- Assist in maintaining internet connectivity and network systems
- Perform routine system checks, updates, and backups
- Maintain IT inventory and ensure proper documentation of IT assets
- Support factory operations systems and production-related IT tools
- Ensure compliance with company IT policies and security standards
- Set up and configure Projectors, PA system, and videoconferencing devices for meetings or Training programs.
- Support users with daily printing tasks, resolving issues relating to printing, changing printer toners, emptying toner waste, and liaising with vendors to purchase toners.
- Provide basic user training and guidance on IT systems
- Carry out tasks assigned to the IT support officer as deemed fit by management.
Requirements:
- Minimum of OND/HND/B.Sc. in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- 0–2 years of experience in IT support or related role
- Basic knowledge of computer hardware, networking, and operating systems
- Familiarity with Windows OS and Microsoft Office Suite
- Good problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Willingness to learn and grow within the role
