Electrical Technician

Responsibilities:

• Installation and Maintenance: Installing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems, equipment, and components in accordance with relevant regulations and standards.
• Troubleshooting: Identifying and diagnosing electrical problems, conducting tests and inspections to determine the root cause, and implementing corrective actions to resolve issues.
• Wiring and Circuitry: Wiring electrical circuits, panels, and distribution systems, ensuring proper connections and adherence to electrical codes and safety standards.
• Equipment Calibration: Calibrating and adjusting electrical equipment and instrumentation to ensure accuracy and reliability in measurement and control processes.
• Safety Compliance: Adhering to safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents, injuries, or hazards related to electrical work, and promoting a culture of safety awareness among team members.
• Documentation: Maintaining accurate records of electrical work performed, including installation, repairs, inspections, and testing, to support compliance and accountability.
• Team Collaboration: Collaborating with engineers, technicians, and other personnel to support project execution, troubleshoot complex issues, and ensure the successful completion of tasks.
• Preventive Maintenance: Conducting routine inspections and preventive maintenance activities on electrical systems and equipment to identify potential problems and prevent downtime.
• Emergency Response: Responding promptly and effectively to electrical emergencies or power outages, and implementing emergency procedures to minimize disruptions and ensure continuity of operations.
• Training and Support: Providing training and technical support to other team members or end-users on electrical systems, equipment operation, and safety practices to enhance knowledge and proficiency.
