Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Design, install, test, and maintain electrical systems and equipment.
- Supervise electrical installations and ensure work meets project specifications.
- Troubleshoot electrical faults and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Prepare technical reports, drawings, and project documentation.
- Ensure compliance with electrical codes, safety regulations, and company procedures.
- Conduct inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical equipment.
Requirements:
- HND in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years’ relevant work experience.
- Practical experience in electrical installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of electrical drawings, wiring systems, and relevant safety standards.
- Experience with solar power systems, inverters, and renewable energy projects is an advantage.
- Proficiency in relevant engineering software and Microsoft Office.
- Ability to work on-site and meet project deadlines.
- Registration with COREN or eligibility for registration is an advantage.
