Responsibilities:

Install, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical systems, machinery, and equipment used in cable manufacturing operations.
Ensure all electrical installations and systems comply with safety standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies.
Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical equipment to ensure optimal performance and reduce breakdowns.
Diagnose electrical faults and carry out timely repairs to minimize production downtime.
Monitor the performance of electrical systems and identify areas for improvement and optimization.
Maintain and repair production machines, including extrusion machines, armouring machines, and related electrical components.
Ensure proper functioning of control panels, motors, transformers, and power distribution systems.
Monitor power supply systems and ensure stable and uninterrupted power for production operations.
Implement and maintain preventive maintenance schedules for all electrical equipment.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment performance.

Ensure proper use and handling of electrical tools, equipment, and components.
Enforce strict compliance with electrical safety procedures, including lockout/tagout practices.
Identify potential electrical hazards and implement corrective actions to prevent accidents.
Support the installation and commissioning of new machinery and equipment.
Work with external contractors or vendors for specialized electrical services when required.
Ensure proper documentation of electrical diagrams, layouts, and system configurations.
Monitor energy usage and recommend measures to improve energy efficiency and reduce operational costs.
Ensure availability of critical spare parts and components for electrical systems.
Provide technical support and guidance to technicians and production staff.
Participate in troubleshooting production issues related to electrical systems.
Ensure compliance with company policies, engineering standards, and operational procedures.
Carry out any other duties as may be assigned by the team lead or management from time to time.
