Job Title: Economic Research Analyst
Job Type: Remote - Contract (5–7 weeks)
Remuneration: $250 (total compensation for the full project duration)

Key Responsibilities:
•
Conduct economic and market research on African economies and sectors
•
Analyze data and produce concise research briefs and reports
•
Support policy, investment, and development-focused research projects
•
Collaborate with a cross-regional research team
Requirements:
•
Minimum of B.Sc. in Economics, Finance, or a related field
(M.Sc. or PhD is an added advantage)
•
Must currently reside in Nigeria, South Africa, Kenya, or Egypt
•
Demonstrated research experience with published or unpublished works
•
Strong analytical and report-writing skills
•
Proficiency in research and data tools such as Excel, Google Sheets, SPSS, Stata, R, or Python (at least one)
•
Familiarity with economic databases and data sources (e.g., World Bank, IMF, national statistics portals)
•
Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines
•
Must be a follower of LEAF Africa on LinkedIn
