The E-commerce Business Manager is responsible for driving the strategic growth, profitability, and overall management of the company’s online sales channels. This role requires optimizing user experience, increasing conversion rates, and driving revenue through various e-commerce platforms.

Responsibilities:
E-commerce Strategy & Management:
- Develop and implement the e-commerce business strategy to drive growth and profitability.
- Manage day-to-day operations of the e-commerce business, ensuring a seamless user experience, from browsing to checkout.
- Optimize the product assortment and pricing strategies to ensure competitiveness in the digital market.
- Identify opportunities for growth through new e-commerce channels and strategic partnerships.
Sales and Revenue Growth:
- Set and achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales and revenue targets for the e-commerce platform.
- Analyze sales performance and customer trends to inform decision-making and improve sales performance.
- Oversee promotional strategies and marketing campaigns, ensuring they align with business goals and boost conversions.
Customer Experience & User Interface (UI):
- Improve the customer journey by enhancing the user interface, site speed, and functionality of the e-commerce platform.
- Ensure an excellent customer experience by working with customer support, logistics, and IT teams to resolve issues and streamline processes.
- Optimize site merchandising and navigation to increase average order value (AOV) and conversion rates.
Digital Marketing and SEO:
- Collaborate with the digital marketing team to execute campaigns (e.g., email, social media, search engine marketing, and paid advertising) that drive traffic and sales.
- Work with the SEO team to ensure the e-commerce platform is optimized for search engines and performs well in organic search rankings.
- Manage paid advertising budgets and analyze ROI to maximize the effectiveness of campaigns.
Inventory and Supply Chain Management:
- Coordinate with supply chain and warehouse teams to ensure adequate stock levels for online products.
- Monitor product inventory and forecast demand to ensure timely fulfillment and prevent stockouts.
- Work closely with logistics and fulfillment teams to ensure on-time delivery and reduce shipping costs.
Analytics and Reporting:
- Track, report, and analyze e-commerce performance metrics (e.g., traffic, conversion rates, cart abandonment, AOV).
- Use data-driven insights to optimize sales strategies, site performance, and customer engagement.
- Prepare regular reports on e-commerce performance for senior management and recommend actionable improvements.
Technology & Platform Management:
- Work with IT teams and external vendors to maintain the e-commerce platform, ensuring system stability and uptime.
- Oversee the integration of third-party tools, plugins, and APIs (e.g., payment gateways, CRM, ERP).
- Stay up-to-date with emerging e-commerce technologies and trends to drive innovation and competitiveness.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, E-commerce, or a related field. A master’s degree is a plus.
- years of experience in managing e-commerce operations or a similar role.
- Strong understanding of e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, Magento, WooCommerce) and digital marketing tools.
- Proven experience driving online sales and growth through various e-commerce strategies.
- Familiarity with web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics) and proficiency in reporting and data analysis.
- Experience with SEO, SEM, and managing online advertising campaigns (Google Ads, Facebook Ads, etc.).
- Knowledge of supply chain, logistics, and inventory management related to e-commerce.
