Driver

Responsibilities:

• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure they are in proper working condition.
• Safely and efficiently transport goods and materials to designated locations in and out of Abia, ensuring adherence to traffic laws and company safety regulations.
• Perform routine inspections and maintenance on assigned vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition. Report any issues or concerns promptly to the appropriate personnel.
• Plan and follow optimal routes to minimize delivery time and fuel consumption while meeting delivery deadlines.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant transportation regulations, including load securing, weight limits, and hazardous materials handling, as applicable.
• Maintain regular and polite communication with dispatchers and logistics coordinators to provide updates on delivery status and any issues encountered during transit.
• Interact professionally with customers and receiving personnel at delivery locations, ensuring a positive experience and addressing any inquiries or concerns.

Requirements:

• Relevant experience is required.
• SSCE or equivalent; additional education or training in Sales or logistics is a plus.
• Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record.

• Good interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse audiences.
• Familiarity with interstate driving regulations and safety protocols.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with customers and team members.
• Physical stamina and strength to handle long hours of driving.

Working Conditions:

• The working days: Mondays - Saturdays
• Work Time: 8:00 AM - 6:30 PM

Remuneration: NGN 70,000
