Job summary
Nigeria Local Government News (NLGN) is seeking a reliable, responsible and experienced Driver to provide safe and efficient transportation for staff, management, documents and official materials. The successful candidate will ensure timely movement, proper vehicle maintenance and compliance with road safety regulations.

Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Transport staff and management to official assignments and meetings.
- Ensure safe and timely transportation of personnel and materials.
- Maintain the cleanliness and proper condition of assigned vehicles.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report mechanical faults.
- Monitor fuel usage and maintain accurate vehicle records.
- Observe traffic laws and road safety regulations.
- Plan routes and avoid unnecessary delays.
- Assist with the delivery of official documents and materials.
- Report accidents, vehicle issues and maintenance needs promptly.
- Perform other driving-related duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Minimum of SSCE or equivalent qualification.
- Valid Nigerian driver's licence.
- Proven driving experience.
- Good knowledge of Ibadan roads and surrounding areas.
- Excellent knowledge of traffic regulations and road safety.
- Responsible, punctual and trustworthy.
- Ability to work flexible hours when required.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
