Job summary
We are seeking an experienced Drill Team Quality Representative Coordinator III to lead quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) activities across drilling and completion operations. In this senior technical role, you will develop and implement the Drill Team Quality Plan, oversee quality compliance throughout well construction activities, and ensure drilling contractors and service providers consistently meet industry and company quality standards.

Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain the Drill Team Quality Plan for drilling and completion operations.
- Lead QA/QC activities during well planning, drilling, and completion execution.
- Ensure drilling equipment, materials, and services comply with company quality requirements.
- Monitor contractor and service provider compliance with API, ISO, NACE, and other applicable standards.
- Review quality documentation, inspection records, and compliance reports.
- Maintain the quality event database and ensure accurate reporting.
- Identify quality risks and coordinate corrective and preventive actions.
- Support internal and external quality audits and assessments.
- Oversee the inspection, maintenance, transportation, installation, and storage quality requirements for drilling equipment.
- Mentor and coach quality personnel and drilling engineers on best practices.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across drilling quality processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues and improve operational performance.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 10 years' experience in the oil and gas industry with significant exposure to drilling and completion operations.
- Experience working with drilling contractors, rig equipment, and oilfield service providers.
- Proven experience implementing and managing QA/QC systems within drilling operations.
Technical Skills
Strong working knowledge of:
- API Standards
- API Specification Q1
- API Specification Q2
- ISO 9001
- ASNT inspection practices
- NACE standards
- T.H. Hill DS-1 drill string inspection requirements
Additional qualifications include:
- Understanding of drilling equipment manufacturing, inspection, installation, maintenance, transportation, and storage requirements.
- ISO 9001 Lead Auditor/Lead Course certification is an advantage.
- Proficiency with technical reporting tools and Microsoft Office applications.
