Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective distribution and circulation strategies.
- Coordinate the delivery of NLGN publications to distributors, vendors and subscribers.
- Identify and establish relationships with distribution partners and sales outlets.
- Monitor stock levels, circulation figures and distribution records.
- Plan and supervise logistics, transportation and delivery schedules.
- Track distribution performance and prepare periodic reports.
- Identify new markets and opportunities to expand publication reach.
- Manage distribution costs and ensure efficient resource utilisation.
- Resolve distribution challenges and ensure timely delivery.
- Collaborate with marketing, editorial and sales teams to improve circulation.
Requirements:
- HND in Logistics, Business Administration, Marketing, Supply Chain Management or a related field.
- Relevant experience in distribution, logistics or operations management.
- Strong organisational, coordination and leadership skills.
- Knowledge of distribution networks, inventory management and logistics.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to manage vendors, distributors and delivery personnel.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and reporting tools.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet delivery deadlines.
