Job summary
We are seeking a highly strategic, dynamic, and results-driven Director of Operations, Ultra Division to take full ownership of TFG's high-value industrial minerals processing operations. Reporting directly to the CEO, Ultra Division, you will oversee a complex, multi-million, multi-shift processing operation and a sizeable cross-functional workforce.

Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Executive Operational Ownership: take full P&L and operational responsibility for all production, maintenance, and safety functions across the Ultra Division's multi-plant, multi-location network.
- Strategic Growth & Innovation: Design and execute operational strategies that scale the business, drive continuous improvement, and position TFG as the #1 industrial minerals processor in Africa.
- Lead Senior Operational Leaders: Build, mentor, and manage a high- performing team of Plant Managers and functional heads, fostering a culture of extreme accountability, discipline, and operational excellence.
- Process & Cost Optimisation: Drive efficiency across all operations by leveraging strong analytical skills and process improvement methodologies to maximise output, minimise downtime, and optimise resource utilisation.
- Talent Acquisition & Development: Independently hire, develop, and retain top-tier operational talent to build a world-class production organisation capable of supporting TFG's continued expansion.
- Executive Communication & Influence: Translate complex operational data into clear strategic insights for the CEO, Ultra Division, and executive leadership, whilst effectively communicating vision and targets down to the factory floor.
Requirements:
- Minimum qualification of HND.
- 10 years of previous experience in a similar role
