Responsibilities:

Content Creation:

  • Study, understand and learn to replicate our content types and style. Ultimately, take over ideation.
  • Write scripts and/or directions to use when filming the reels, which have the kind of engaging structure and pacing that shows you understand social media inside out.
  • Act and appear in reels. Be natural, expressive, comfortable improvising, and unapologetically (but professionally) yourself.
  • Take an active role in creative direction during filming. Lead the energy on set, adjust delivery, timing and tone in real time, and make the content feel alive - not scripted.
  • Help make decisions on video length, hook framing, caption style, etc, optimising everything for TikTok and Instagram behaviour


General:

  • Assist the CMO with other marketing work where needed. This could include:
  • Writing and scheduling in-app notifications
  • Assisting with email marketing campaigns


Extra points if you can do these too: 

  • Edit reels with the kind of engaging structure and pacing that shows you understand social media inside out.
  • Design reel cover images with excellent design sensibility and a clear understanding of social media best practices. 
  • Work with the team to post consistently and strategically on both Instagram and TikTok, scheduling content where needed.
  • Help establish and maintain a 2-week buffer of content, using a content calendar.
  • Work with the team to analyse metrics - to understand what content works, what doesn’t, and why, and turn this insight into action.


Requirements:

  • Submit a portfolio of content showing their on-camera skills, and any other skills relevant to this role.
  • Be naturally engaging on camera.
  • Be familiar with basic editing tools like Canva and CapCut
  • Be totally in tune with Nigerian internet culture.
  • Be based in Ibadan, or willing to relocate, and prepared to work on-site.
  • Have proven experience making viral, relevant content on social media, whether for your own personal brand or in a professional context.

  • High audience engagement (comments, shares, saves)
  • Great retention rates, engagement, and follower growth
  • Speed and efficiency, keeping up with a high and consistent output of content
  • Consistency, reliability, and accountability 


What We Offer:

  • Remuneration: NGN 150,000 - 180,000 depending on experience
