Dentist

Responsible:

• Providing dental care and services at SS Dental Clinic 
• Carryout clerking, thorough examination of the oral and maxillofacial region with the required investigations
• Diagnose and carry out appropriate treatment as at when due
• Consider treatment methods and explain the options with the patient to determine which works best for them based on their situation
• Educate and Provide advice and instruction on taking care of teeth and gums and on diet choices that affect oral health
• Other responsibilities that may be assigned to you by the head of Clinical Operations
• Make models and measurements for dental appliances, such as dentures to fit patients
• Responsible for ensuring that all dental surgeries are cleaned and their equipment are working effectively 
• Ensure the organization of the surgery and also the verification of confirmed patients for each day from the front desk
• Ensure that the dental chair is working properly
• Keep all equipment functional and clean 

Requirements:

• Graduation from an accredited dental school
• 2 - 4 years of Work Experience (Post NYSC)
• An MBA is an added advantage
• Licensed and qualified to work as a Dentist in Nigeria
• Knowledge of the principles and practice of modern dentistry
• Knowledge of advance dental treatments is an added advantage
• Good ethical grounding
• Team working skills
• Patience
• Analytical Skills 
• Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills required
• Ability to maintain appropriate clinical privileges required
