Data Analyst

Responsibilities:

• Collect, clean, and analyze data to produce accurate and actionable insights to support managers.
• Maintain and update databases and spreadsheets; assist in developing analytical tools (Excel/SQL/Power BI).
• Create regular reports and dashboards to monitor KPIs; prepare presentation slides for review.
• Support cross-functional teams by gathering data and communicating findings to non-technical stakeholders.
• Identify trends and issues, recommend improvements, and assist in implementing solutions.
• Assist in preparing meeting materials, including agendas, presentations, and reports, to ensure alignment with organizational objectives.
• Identify opportunities to streamline processes and enhance data quality and integrity.
• Proactively solicit feedback to refine analytical approaches and optimize the relevance and effectiveness of insights.

Requirements:

• Minimum Qualification: ND/B.Sc./HND in Statistics, Computer Science, Business, Economics, or a related field.
• 1-3 years of experience as a data analyst or in a related role.
• Strong proficiency in data analysis tools and software and visualization tools (e.g., SQL, Microsoft Excel, Tableau).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with keen attention to detail.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex information to non-technical audiences.
• Discretion and professionalism when handling confidential information.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Knowledge of Python or R for data analysis is an added advantage.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively and manage time effectively.
• Strong organizational skills for managing multiple data sets, spreadsheets, or entry queues.
• Strong communication skills are essential for presenting findings clearly.
