Responsibilities:
- Edit documentary-style YouTube videos from start to finish.
- Turn raw assets, voiceover, and AI-generated scenes into polished final videos
- Create strong pacing, tension, and visual storytelling throughout each edit
- Add cinematic sound design, including SFX, ambience, risers, impacts, and transitions
- Sync visuals, music, narration, and sound effects for maximum engagement
- Enhance AI-generated scenes with motion, timing, and creative editing
- Experience with 3D AI Animation
- Maintain high-quality output while meeting deadlines and creative direction
Requirements:
- Proven experience editing documentary-style YouTube videos
- Strong sound design skills with cinematic SFX, ambience, risers, impacts, and transitions
- Ability to assess AI-generated clips for quality, continuity, and visual irregularities before using them in the edit
- Ability to turn raw assets, voiceover, and AI-generated scenes into polished final videos
- Strong sense of pacing, storytelling, and audience retention
- Proficiency in professional editing software and audio tools
- Excellent attention to detail, timing, and overall video flow
- Ability to meet deadlines and follow creative direction
- Strong portfolio showing both editing and sound design work
