Creative Video Editor

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with our creative team to conceptualize and storyboard captivating video content.
• Utilize your expertise in motion graphics and visual effects to enhance our videos and make them stand out.
• Ensure consistency in branding and messaging across all video projects.
• Craft compelling content tailored specifically for YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and LinkedIn.
• Stay ahead of the curve by incorporating the latest social media trends creatively into our content.
• Create new assets and transitional elements using Photoshop or Illustrator.
• Conduct photo manipulation for on-screen assets.
• Occasionally create animations using After Effects or Premiere.
• Implement layered effects, including simple masks and basic rotoscoping.
• Gather and transfer media into editing software, ensuring correct formatting and presentation.
• Maintain a clear understanding of each video's storyline and purpose.
• Propose initial storyboard drafts for approval before commencing digital alterations.
• Enhance video and sound quality using various editing software.
• Incorporate preselected music, interviews, sound clips, and other essential elements into edited videos.
• Ensure finalized videos meet specified formatting and presentation requirements.

Requirements:

• Demonstrable experience in video editing, particularly for social media platforms.
• Proficiency in CapCut, Adobe, and other relevant software for graphic and video editing.
• Strong understanding of keyframes, sound design, and other editing techniques.
• A portfolio showcasing your previous work, with a focus on content similar to what we're looking for.
• Passion for staying ahead of the curve with social media trends and content formats.
