Job summary

We are looking for a Creative Strategist — someone who wakes up thinking about culture, trends, and storytelling, and goes to sleep with ideas they cannot wait to execute in the morning. You will own the creative direction of Whot Studios' brand presence across all platforms, not just managing accounts, but actively shaping how the world sees us.

Responsibilities:

Creative Strategy:

  • Develop and own the creative strategy for Who Studios and its products across all platforms — Instagram, TikTok, Twitter/X, YouTube, and beyond
  • Identify cultural moments, trends, and conversations, and move fast to insert the brand meaningfully and authentically
  • Pitch original campaign ideas proactively — without being asked — and see them through to execution
  • Build content calendars that balance brand storytelling, product promotion, community engagement, and viral potential
  • Stay ahead of what is happening in African digital culture, gaming, fintech, and entertainment, and bring those insights into the brand's voice


Content Creation & Execution:

  • Create and direct high-quality content — copy, graphics, short-form video concepts, reels, and campaigns — either independently or by briefing and directing creatives
  • Write sharp, platform-native copy that sounds human, not corporate
  • Manage the day-to-day content output across all platforms with consistency and quality
  • Oversee and coordinate with videographers, designers, and content creators to bring ideas to life
  • Monitor comments, DMs, and community interactions and engage in a way that builds genuine connection


Brand & Marketing:

  • Support the positioning of the CEO’s personal brand as a thought leader and founder in the African gaming and tech space
  • Contribute to broader marketing strategy, including influencer partnerships, community activations, and campaign launches
  • Track performance metrics across platforms and use data to inform creative decisions — not as a replacement for instinct, but as a tool to sharpen it
  • Collaborate with the product and operations team to amplify product launches, tournaments, and milestones


Requirements:

  • Minimum BSC
  • 3 years of previous experience in a similar role
