Responsibilities:
- Direct all day-to-day field operations, providing comprehensive planning, coordination, and control of craft labor and subcontractors to meet project milestones.
- Perform rigorous reviews of submittals, Requests for Information (RFIs), and Requests for Clarification (RFCs) to ensure technical accuracy and alignment with project specifications.
- Evaluate and enforce health, safety, and environmental (HSE) control measures to ensure 100% compliance with regulatory and company standards.
- Verify payment quantities and validate work completion status, ensuring all site documentation accurately reflects physical progress.
- Identify non-conformance issues in real-time and spearhead the development and implementation of technical resolutions to minimize project delays.
- Act as the primary site representative during the absence of senior management, maintaining strong professional relationships with all contractors and stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 10+ years of documented experience in field construction planning, execution, and completions on major capital projects within the oil and gas industry.
- Expert-level knowledge of ASTM standards and sophisticated Construction Materials Testing (CMT) procedures.
- Proven history of serving as a lead company representative at remote sub-sites, demonstrating the ability to manage complex operations autonomously.
- Advanced proficiency in analyzing technical documentation, including blueprints, schematics, and engineering change requests.
- Commitment to onsite work presence with a high degree of flexibility for occasional domestic and international travel to various project locations.
- Demonstrated capability to resolve high-stakes field conflicts through technical expertise and professional negotiation.
