Job summary
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Concrete Foreman Concrete Foreman (Road & Bridge Construction) to supervise and manage concrete works on major infrastructure projects, including road construction, bridges, and culverts. The ideal candidate must have strong leadership abilities, hands-on experience, and a deep understanding of construction processes, materials, and safety standards.

Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate daily concrete operations on site
- Oversee construction of bridges, culverts, and road structures
- Interpret construction drawings, blueprints, and specifications
- Ensure proper mixing, pouring, finishing, and curing of concrete
- Monitor quality control to meet engineering standards and project requirements
- Manage and direct site workers, subcontractors, and equipment operators
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations
- Plan work schedules and ensure timely project delivery
- Inspect materials such as cement, aggregates, reinforcement, and formwork
- Maintain accurate site records and report progress to project managers
- Identify and resolve on-site technical issues
Requirements:
- Minimum of Diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Technology, or related field
- Minimum of 3-5 years proven experience as a Concrete Foreman in road construction
- Strong practical experience in bridge, culvert, and highway construction
- In-depth knowledge of concrete works, reinforcement, formwork, and finishing techniques
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documents
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Good problem-solving and decision-making ability
- Knowledge of construction safety standards and regulations
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Additional certifications in construction or safety will be an advantage
- Must be willing to travel or relocate to project sites within Northern Nigeria
- Physically fit and able to work on construction sites
- Strong communication and reporting skills
