Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Perform component-level diagnostics and repair on laptop, desktop, and server motherboards
- Carry out micro-soldering tasks, including SMD replacement, BGA reballing/replacement, and trace/pad repair
- Read and interpret board view files and schematic diagrams to isolate faults
- Diagnose and repair liquid-damaged boards
- Replace faulty connectors and perform BIOS/UEFI chip reprogramming
- Document all repairs, parts used, and diagnostic steps
- Conduct stress and thermal testing to confirm board stability
- SMD – Surface Mount Device
- BGA – Ball Grid Array
Requirements:
- High School Diploma (Minimum)
- Associate's Degree in Electronics, Computer Engineering, or IT (Preferred)
- Minimum of 2 years hands-on experience in Component-level motherboard repair
