Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain a clear, consistent brand identity that reflects the company's values and resonates with the target audience.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify opportunities for brand differentiation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure brand consistency across all touchpoints.
- Create and implement comprehensive communication and engagement strategies that align with the organization's goals.
- Develop and manage communication and engagement plans for product launches, events, and campaigns.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of communication efforts, making adjustments as necessary.
- Plan, execute, and oversee projects from inception to completion, ensuring alignment with timelines, budgets, and organizational objectives.
- Coordinate with various departments to ensure project goals are met and communication strategies are integrated seamlessly.
- Analyze project performance metrics to optimize strategies and report outcomes to management.
- Generate engaging content for various channels, including websites, email marketing, social media, press releases, and marketing materials.
- Supervise and coordinate the work of content creators, social media managers, community managers, and designers to ensure brand, communication, and engagement consistency.
- Manage content calendars and distribution schedules.
- Build and maintain relationships with media outlets, journalists, and influencers.
- Plan and execute PR campaigns to enhance the company's reputation and visibility.
- Monitor media coverage and prepare responses to manage the company's public image.
- Engage with conference conveners to identify and negotiate speaking opportunities.
- Develop and enforce brand guidelines to ensure consistent use of brand elements.
- Provide guidance and training to internal teams and external partners on brand compliance.
- Develop, manage, and allocate the communications and engagement budget effectively.
- Monitor expenses and ensure cost-effectiveness in all initiatives.
- Foster a collaborative and creative environment to encourage innovation and growth.
Requirements:
- Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
- Proven experience (2+ years) in communications and project management, preferably in a leadership role.
- Strong understanding of branding principles, marketing strategies, communication trends, and engagement tactics.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in digital marketing, social media platforms, content management systems, and possibly sales.
- Excellent project management and organizational skills.
- Leadership skills with the ability to build, motivate, and mentor a team.
