Job summary
The Commercial Sales Officer is responsible for generating sales, acquiring new commercial (SMEs and Corporate) clients, and managing relationships to drive revenue growth. This role involves providing solutions, maintaining a strong customer focus to meet sales targets and contribute to business expansion.

Responsibilities:
- Prospect, acquire, and meet commercial loan sales targets.
- Grow borrowings (deposit liability) in line with the set target.
- Act as a point of escalation for clients and the client service teams, ensuring the best-in-class service is constantly being delivered.
- Complete KYC requirements within prescribed timeframes and ensure existing records remain current.
- Identify market trends, industry opportunities, and competitive threats to formulate effective business development strategies.
Requirements:
- First degree in Marketing, Economics, Finance and related courses
- Minimum 3 years of progressive experience in commercial sales, Marketing, Sales, or Business Development related roles.
- Proven ability to achieve and exceed sales targets.
- Strong understanding of commercial products/services and market dynamics
- Proficiency in MS Office suite.
- Candidate must have good knowledge with a proven record of Credit/Risk Analysis Aggressive persuasion, resilience, and negotiation skills.
- Strong presentation, organizational, prioritization, time, and task management skills
- Excellent communication, negotiation, interpersonal, problem-solving, and multitasking skills and people skills.
