Virtual Projects Assistant
Job summary
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Virtual Project Assistant to support construction and infrastructure projects based in CA & NG. This is a remote position, ideally suited for a candidate based in Nigeria, working closely with the project management team to ensure accurate tracking of costs, documentation, and project progress.
Job descriptions & requirements
- Maintain and update project cost tracking spreadsheets (Excel/Google Sheets)
- Monitor and record project expenses, including labor, materials, and equipment
- Assist in preparing budget vs actual cost reports
- Organize and manage project documents, invoices, and receipts
- Support the preparation of weekly and monthly project progress reports
- Assist in basic project scheduling updates and tracking deliverables
- Communicate with project teams to gather and verify information
Requirements:
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, tables, data entry accuracy)
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Good written communication skills in English
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Prior experience in construction, engineering, or project coordination is an advantage but not mandatory
- Fully remote role
- Flexible hours with required overlap with the Canadian time zone
- Stable internet connection required
