Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Plan, coordinate, and supervise civil construction and site activities.
- Interpret engineering drawings, designs, and specifications.
- Monitor contractors, materials, workmanship, and project progress.
- Ensure work is completed according to approved designs, quality standards, timelines, and budget.
- Conduct site inspections and identify and resolve technical issues.
- Prepare site reports, progress updates, and relevant project documentation.
- Coordinate with engineers, contractors, consultants, and other project teams.
Requirements:
- HND in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in civil construction or project/site engineering.
- Must have practical site supervision experience.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
- Good knowledge of construction methods, materials, and quality control.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office is an advantage.
- COREN registration or relevant professional certification is an added advantage.
