Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Provide accurate oral and written translation between Chinese and English.
- Assist with communication between Chinese managers and Nigerian employees.
- Translate during meetings, business discussions, and daily work activities.
- Translate company documents, reports, notices, and other relevant materials.
- Assist with coordination between Chinese and local staff.
- Support daily operations and perform other translation-related duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Good command of both Chinese and English, with strong speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills.
- Ability to communicate clearly and translate accurately between Chinese and English.
- Previous experience as a translator or interpreter is an advantage.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Responsible, honest, hardworking, and detail-oriented.
- Able to work independently and cooperate effectively with a team.
- Must be willing to work in Nigeria.
- Candidates with experience working in Chinese companies are preferred.
