Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Provide attentive and compassionate care to children, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
- Assist with daily activities, including meal preparation, bathing, dressing, and transportation to and from school or activities.
- Engage children in age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development.
- Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about the child's progress, needs, and any concerns.
- Follow established family routines and guidelines to create a stable and nurturing environment.
- Maintain a clean and organized space, ensuring toys and equipment are safe and in good condition.
- Administer first aid as necessary and respond to emergencies calmly and effectively.
Requirements:
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Minimum of OND level certificate.
- Prior experience in childcare or a similar role is required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A passion for working with children and fostering their growth and development.
- Reliability and the ability to adhere to family routines and guidelines.
- First Aid and CPR certification is a plus.
- A background check is required to ensure the safety of children.
