Job summary
A reputable manufacturing company with integrated farm operations is seeking to recruit an experienced and highly disciplined Chief Security Officer (CSO) to oversee the security of its manufacturing plant, farm facilities, assets, employees, and visitors.
Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and emergency response plans.
- Supervise and coordinate all security personnel across the factory and farm locations.
- Protect company assets, facilities, personnel, and products from theft, vandalism, and other security threats.
- Conduct security risk assessments and implement preventive measures.
- Investigate security incidents and prepare detailed reports.
- Monitor access control, CCTV systems, and perimeter security.
- Liaise with law enforcement agencies, community leaders, and other security stakeholders when required.
- Ensure compliance with company security policies and HSE requirements.
- Provide regular security updates and recommendations to management.
Requirements:
- Minimum of an HND in a relevant discipline.
- At least 5 years' experience in a supervisory or management security role, preferably within a manufacturing, agricultural, or industrial environment.
- Military, Police, Civil Defence, or other security service background is an added advantage.
- Strong leadership, investigative, and incident management skills.
- Excellent communication, report writing, and interpersonal skills.
- High level of integrity, discipline, and sound judgment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
