Chattered Accountant
Job summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Accountant to join our team who will be responsible for managing the company's financial records, preparing reports, monitoring transactions, and ensuring compliance with financial policies and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate financial records and accounting documentation.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
- Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow.
- Process staff reimbursements and other financial transactions.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations and statutory obligations.
- Prepare payroll-related financial records as required.
- Calculate, verify, and process sales commissions based on approved company policies.
- Maintain accurate commission schedules and records for all sales personnel.
- Resolve commission-related inquiries and discrepancies.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
- Assist with internal and external audits.
- Generate management reports and provide financial insights to support decision-making.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree or HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Professional certification (ICAN, ACCA, or equivalent) is an added advantage.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in accounting or finance roles.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Experience calculating sales commissions and incentives is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial information.

- Accuracy of financial records and reports.
- Timeliness of monthly financial reporting.
- Accuracy and timeliness of commission calculations and disbursements.
- Compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.
