Cashier

Responsibilities:

• Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently using cash registers or electronic systems
• Greet customers warmly and assist them with inquiries or concerns.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
• Handle cash, credit, and debit card transactions with precision.
• Ensure the security of all cash and financial transactions.
• Resolve customer complaints or issues in a professional manner.
• Balance cash drawers and reconcile discrepancies.
• Assist with inventory management and restocking shelves when necessary.
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operations.

Requirements:

• This position is open preferably to a Female candidate to maintain gender balance in the team
• Proven work experience as a Cashier or in a similar role.
• Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with cash handling procedures and basic accounting principles.
• Basic computer skills.

Location: Candidate should be residing in Akwa Ibom or willing to relocate.
