Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Process Transactions: Scan items, look up product codes, and accept cash, credit, debit, checks, or digital payments using a point-of-sale (POS) system.
- Manage Cash Drawers: Count and balance cash drawers at the beginning and end of each shift, calculate change, and prepare bank or sales reports.
- Customer Service: Greet shoppers, answer questions, apply coupons or discounts, and handle returns, exchanges, or price adjustments.
- Maintain Workstation: Keep the checkout area clean, organised, well-stocked with bags, and alert management to security or loss-prevention concerns.
- Resolve Issues: Calmly address customer complaints or product discrepancies to ensure a smooth checkout experience.
Requirements:
- Minimum qualification of OND
- 2 years of previous experience in a similar role
Remuneration: NGN 80,000
