Role Description

This is a full-time remote position for a C# Backend Developer. The role involves designing, developing, testing, and optimizing backend systems and applications, with a primary focus on scalability, security, and performance. The candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate APIs, manage databases, debug issues, and enhance the functionality of our escrow-based e-commerce platform.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Computer Science principles, including algorithms, data structures, and system design
• Proven capabilities in Back-End Web Development and Software Development
• Expertise in Programming with proficiency in C# and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)
• Familiarity with API integration, databases, and version control tools such as Git
• Experience with cloud infrastructure, scalability practices, and security-driven development is a plus
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a remote team setting
• Solid grasp of asynchronous programming, event handling, and dependency injection
• Experience with payments, escrow, or banking systems a strong plus
• Able to work with Azure, Docker, PostgreSQL, and Redis
• Comfort navigating and extending large codebases
• Can test and debug independently without hand-holding
• Excellent written communication and self-management

Nice to Have

• Experience with LLM tooling, AI agents, or LangChain
• Past work on high-availability systems or financial-grade platforms
• Familiarity with observability tools and performance profiling

What You’ll Own

• Core backend services written in C# (.NET 6+)
• Logic for managing escrow states, user balances, and transaction events
• Integrations with payment APIs, identity systems, and LLM pipelines
• Backend support for our LLM-driven agent layer
• Maintaining Dockerized services for deployment and testing
