Role Description
This is a full-time on-site position located in Calabar for a Business Development Manager. The Business Development Manager will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building and maintaining relationships with clients, and contributing to revenue growth. Key tasks include developing business strategies, conducting market research, creating and delivering proposals, and negotiating contracts. The role also involves collaborating with internal teams to develop tailored solutions for clients.
Qualifications
- Strong Business Development, Sales, and Client Relationship Management skills
- Proficiency in Market Research, Data Analysis, and Strategic Planning
- Excellent Communication, Persuasion, and Negotiation skills
- Leadership abilities with experience in managing cross-functional teams
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically
- Experience in the automotive, security, or construction sectors is a plus
- Understanding of B2B and B2C markets
- Master's degree (MBA preferred) with a minimum of 5 years experience in business development or similar role
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field with a minimum of 8 years experience in business development or similar role
- Ability to work effectively in an on-site, team-oriented environment
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding business growth targets
Compensation
Salary is competitive and includes a commission structure based on performance
