Job summary
The Branch Manager in MFI is responsible for overseeing branch operations, driving loan and savings growth, managing staff, ensuring portfolio quality, and achieving business targets while maintaining compliance with company policies and procedures.

Responsibilities:
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the branch.
- Drive loan portfolio growth and savings mobilization.
- Ensure achievement of branch business and profitability targets.
- Supervise, coach, and monitor branch staff performance.
- Ensure timely loan disbursement, repayment, and recovery
- Monitor Portfolio at Risk (PAR) and implement strategies to reduce loan defaults.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships.
- Conduct branch meetings and performance reviews.
- Prepare and submit periodic operational and performance reports.
- Ensure proper documentation and adherence to KYC requirements.
- Safeguard company assets and maintain effective internal controls.
Requirements:
- Minimum of an HND in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Banking, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in a Microfinance Institution (MFI), with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of credit administration, savings mobilization, and branch operations.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to achieve business targets and manage teams effectively.
