Block Production Supervisor

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and assist with manual block production activities, including moving materials, stacking blocks, watering, and tidying aggregates.
• Supervise the watering and proper maintenance of the block curing yard.
• Assist with receiving aggregates and ensure the stockyard is properly organised.
• Ensure block production areas are kept clean, orderly, and safe at all times.
• Monitor production activities and report machine faults, operational issues, or safety hazards immediately.
• Ensure the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including safety boots, gloves, helmets, masks, and reflective vests.
• Participate in safety briefings, toolbox meetings, and required training sessions.
• Support the smooth day-to-day operation of the block production and batching plant areas.
• Ensure workers follow instructions, safety procedures, and established production practices.
• Maintain punctuality, reliability, and consistent attendance throughout scheduled shifts.
• Perform other production-related duties as assigned by management.

Requirements:

• Minimum of WAEC/NECO or equivalent.
• Basic reading and writing skills.
• 1–2 years of experience in block production, construction, manufacturing, or a related environment.
• Previous experience supervising workers or production activities is an advantage.
• Physically fit and able to work in a dusty, outdoor, and physically demanding environment.
• Ability to follow instructions and enforce basic workplace safety procedures.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Hardworking, reliable, punctual, and responsible.
• Willingness to work under supervision and support daily production targets.
