Job summary
The Baker is responsible for preparing, baking, and presenting a variety of bread, pastries, and baked products while ensuring high quality, freshness, and compliance with food safety and hygiene standards.

- Prepare and bake bread, cakes, pastries, and other baked goods according to recipes and standards.
- Measure, mix, and prepare doughs, batters, and fillings accurately.
- Monitor baking times and temperatures to ensure product quality and consistency.
- Decorate and present baked products attractively.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the baking area and equipment.
- Ensure proper storage of ingredients and finished products.
- Monitor stock levels and report ingredient needs.
- Follow health, safety, and food handling regulations.
- Assist in developing new recipes or improving existing products when required.
- Minimum of SSCE / High School Certificate (Culinary or Baking Certification is an advantage).
- Proven experience as a baker or in a similar role preferred.
- Knowledge of baking techniques, recipes, and food safety standards.
- Ability to work early mornings, weekends, and public holidays.
- Attention to detail and creativity in presentation.
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift baking supplies.
- Good time management and organizational skills.
- Team-oriented with a positive work attitude.
