Are you a creative and skilled frontend developer with a passion for building user-centric interfaces? Zap Africa, a leading Nigerian cryptocurrency exchange platform, is looking for a talented Frontend Developer to join their growing team!
In this exciting role, you'll play a pivotal role in crafting beautiful, user-friendly interfaces for Zap Africa's web and mobile applications. You'll collaborate closely with designers and backend developers to ensure a seamless user experience across all platforms.
Here's What You'll Do

• UI/UX Champion: Design and develop responsive, user-friendly interfaces for Zap Africa's web and mobile applications, ensuring exceptional usability and a delightful user experience.
• Bridge Between Design & Development: Work hand-in-hand with designers and backend developers to translate design mockups into functional and visually appealing interfaces, while integrating backend services flawlessly.
• Code with Craftsmanship: Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code that adheres to best practices, promoting long-term application performance and maintainability.
• Speed & Scalability Wizard: Optimize applications for maximum loading speed and scalability to ensure a smooth user experience even under heavy traffic.
• Tech-Savvy & Trend Aware: Stay up-to-date with the latest frontend technologies and best practices, constantly seeking ways to improve user experience and application functionality.
• Collaborative Problem Solver: Proactively identify, troubleshoot, and resolve frontend issues, fostering a collaborative environment where knowledge sharing is encouraged.
• Team Player: Participate actively in team meetings, contribute valuable insights, and work seamlessly with colleagues to achieve shared goals.
  

Are you a perfect fit?

• You hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• You possess a minimum of 3+ years of solid experience as a Frontend Developer or a similar role.
• You're a master of the frontend development trinity: HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Experience with popular JavaScript frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js is a big plus.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and GraphQL will give you an extra edge.
• You're a whiz at using version control systems like Git to manage code effectively.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills are key to thriving in Zap Africa's fast-paced team environment.
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team while meeting deadlines is crucial.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail are essential for ensuring high-quality code and a polished user experience.
