We're a niche tech talent acquisition partner based in Canada. Founded in 2018, we help organizations maximize ROI on their technology investments by finding the right people. Our mission: to guide and support companies through their tech hiring journey, creating partnerships that drive success.

We offer technical recruitment via full-time and contract placement services (our primary business) with a longer-term strategy of building complementary tech talent advisory services. We connect companies with experienced technology professionals for permanent roles and contracts ranging from 3 months to multi-year projects. We specialize in cybersecurity, cloud computing, AI, data engineering, software development, and other critical tech areas that enable digital transformation. Beyond recruiting, we advise on tech talent strategy, market insights, and employer branding. With tech unemployment roughly around 3%, 97% of candidates are already employed.

Our clients are enterprises and mid-sized companies across Canada (expanding to the US) in tech and tech-enabled industries—financial services, manufacturing, healthcare, etc. We partner directly with technology and data leaders and department heads, not HR. 

We work with respected partners including KPMG, Government of Ontario and Maple Leaf Foods, and we're part of the 2024 EY Entrepreneurs Access Network. We're a hybrid organization with 5 teammates (soon to be 7 👋🏾), including 2 Recruiters, an Account Executive, our Founder/CEO, and a Content Videographer. We're headquartered in Toronto with recruitment operations expanding to Calgary, serving clients across Canada and expanding to the US. We're mostly hybrid with remote work options, and the team travels to meet clients when needed.


About the Role

We're looking for a remote B2B Social Content Lead to establish us as the go-to choice for tech talent acquisition in North America. We've had wins, but many don't know who we are or how we differ. Your job: change that through brand building and conversion-focused content.

You'll own social end-to-end—developing strategies for four brands (clients, community, Founder, employer), creating B2B content, and achieving results through experimentation and data. We currently only have LinkedIn; you'll expand to Facebook and Instagram with a longer term strategy of adding YouTube, and tech communities. 

Working directly with our Founder, you'll transform their raw ideas into thought leadership, manage their media calendar (panels, podcasts, speaking), identify strategic partnerships, and create educational content that warms prospects pre-sale.

This foundational role builds our content machine with recent funding fueling growth. You'll have autonomy to guide strategy and experiment freely. As we scale, you'll expand into email, long-form content, and SEO.

Our IDEAL CANDIDATE brings 4-6+ years in B2B social media, content marketing, or copywriting as a functional leader who guides while executing. You've built brands from 0 to 1 in startup culture as a small team (occasionally one person). You're a LinkedIn expert, native on Facebook and Instagram, and plugged into platform trends. You have proven experience with how social drives business growth, how content builds pre-sale trust, and how to reverse engineer what resonates to build customer journeys. You bring ideas without hesitation, transform complex concepts into compelling B2B stories, and show up with consistent high effort and creativity. You're resourceful with a track record of experimentation and failure to reach new audiences, and you're driven by impact over metrics alone. You're the expert who makes us feel confident and relieved—opening up this new lane for our business.

Your performance will be measured by posting consistency, content quality, engagement metrics (impressions, views, interactions), data-driven iteration, creative experimentation and customer/employee conversion.

You'll collaborate with our Videographer and Virtual Assistant. This position reports directly to our Founder/CEO.

You’ll be doing things like:

  • Content Strategy & Planning: Conducting deep audience research to understand our target markets; developing platform strategies for four distinct brands (clients, community, Founder, employer); determining content mix from our pillars; reverse engineering what resonates with each audience; identifying strategic partnership opportunities from our wins
  • Founder Brand & Thought Leadership: Mining content from our Founder for thought leadership, positioning and building an authentic Founder brand; managing our Founder's calendar for panels, speaking engagements, and podcast opportunities; building authoritative media presence; ensuring Founder brand aligns with company brand; helping make us a household name in tech recruitment
  • Content Creation & Production: Writing B2B social copy that makes recruitment concepts interesting; creating educational content on career mapping, hiring strategy, and market insights; designing graphics in Canva; basic video editing (captions, formatting raw videos from our Founder and team); adapting brand voice across platforms; applying 'Jab, Jab, Jab, Right Hook'—build value before asking for the sale
  • Content Distribution & Management: Building and maintaining social calendars across all channels; scheduling content to LinkedIn (primary), Meta platforms, YouTube, and emerging tech communities (Reddit, Stack Overflow, Quora); maintaining consistent posting cadence; applying platform best practices for timing and format
  • Community Engagement & Lead Nurturing: Responding to comments; strategically commenting on target posts; leveraging LinkedIn Sales Automation (Dripify) as well as nurturing leads through authentic engagement; moving people through the funnel via relationships, not hard selling; helping prospects learn about us passively while converting them through micro-steps following an intentional customer journey; building awareness and driving inbound demand
  • Analytics, Experimentation & Optimization: Tracking social metrics and identifying trends; generating ideas for lives, webinars, recorded  in-person events and new formats; running creative experiments and iterating on results; staying current on platform trends and algorithm changes; measuring conversion progress, not vanity metrics; building the content machine that expands our funnel and converts ideal prospects into ideal customers

Skills & Qualifications

  •  4-6+ years of experience in roles like B2B Social Media Manager, B2B Content Marketing Manager, B2B Content Creator, B2B Social Copywriter, or related
  • LinkedIn subject matter expert with deep B2B marketing expertise (non-negotiable)
  • Portfolio showing 0-to-1 brand building, your journey, and video examples
  • Expert storytelling for Founders and brands (preferably with technology or tech adjacent industries)—Founder-led marketing experience required
  • Deep understanding of North American B2B business culture with excellent English
  • Native on LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram—understand platform nuances, algorithms, and trends
  • Led integrated social calendars for multi-brand strategies
  • Experience building customer journeys and roadmaps for social media
  • B2B-focused short-form copywriting that makes complex topics interesting
  • Graphic design skills (Canva proficiency required)
  • Basic video editing—captions, formatting for platforms, making content post-worthy
  • Experience with Dripify or other LinkedIn Sales Automation tool
  • Audience listening and research to understand target market psychology
  • Data-driven approach to content strategy and experimentation
  • AI-savvy for social media and content creation
  • Understanding of 'Jab, Jab, Jab, Right Hook' philosophy (value-first content before asking for the sale)
  • Startup background – comfortable as one-person team executing with limited support while guiding strategy
  • Anti-perfectionist—spitball ideas, iterate fast, experiment knowing some will fail
  • Resourceful self-learner with accountability

Bonus if you also have:

  • Experience with email marketing or long-form content (blogs)
  • Familiarity with emerging tech community platforms (Reddit, Stack Overflow, Quora)
  • Experience in tech recruitment or tech professional services environment
  • Familiarity with our tools: Canva, Plannable (or similar scheduling tools), Dripify, other AI tools, Microsoft 365, Adobe Creative Suite

Position Details

Working Hours: Minimum 4 hours of required overlap (occasionally up to 5-6 hours) between 9AM – 5PM ET, with remaining hours asynchronous. Adjusts with Daylight Saving Time.

Employment Type: Full-time (40 hours/week), Exclusivity Preferred

Education:  No formal education requirements—we focus on skills and work experience

Level: Upper-Intermediate (4-5 years), Senior (6+ years)

Compensation: ~CAD $1,525 – $2,098 (NGN 1.6M – 2.2M) per month, based on experience. Structured as a Consultant Agreement (independent contractor), meaning you'll be responsible for your own taxes, benefits, and insurance.
