Truck Drivers

Responsibilities:

• Operate articulated trucks safely and efficiently in compliance with traffic regulations and company policies.
• Transport goods to designated destinations while ensuring product integrity and security.
• Conduct daily vehicle inspections and report defects promptly.
• Maintain accurate trip logs, delivery records, and fuel consumption reports.
• Ensure compliance with road safety standards and defensive driving practices.
• Monitor vehicle performance and coordinate maintenance requirements.
• Follow assigned routes and delivery schedules.
• Report accidents, incidents, or operational challenges immediately.
• Maintain professional conduct when interacting with customers, security agencies, and other stakeholders.
• Adhere to all company health, safety, and environmental policies.

Requirements:

• Minimum of Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination (SSCE).
• Valid Class G Driver's License.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience driving articulated trucks/trailers.
• Age between 30 and 45 years.
• Good knowledge of Nigerian road networks and highway regulations.
• Ability to perform basic vehicle checks and identify mechanical issues.
• Strong understanding of defensive driving and safety procedures.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Physically fit and capable of handling long-distance trips.
• No history of serious traffic violations or criminal convictions.

Preferred Requirements:

• Experience in FMCG, brewery, logistics, or distribution operations.
• Possession of relevant driving or safety certifications.
• Knowledge of vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting.
