Job summary

We are looking for an Area Sales Manager who will be responsible for driving Assets Under Management (AUM) growth, new client acquisition, and overall sales performance within an assigned geographic region. The role involves leading, coaching, and managing a team of Sales Executives (SEs) to achieve revenue targets while ensuring high product.

Job descriptions & requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Own and deliver regional AUM growth, revenue targets, and overall sales performance.
  • Lead, develop, and optimize a high-performing team of Sales Executives.
  • Design and execute regional sales and market expansion strategies.
  • Drive new client acquisition, strategic partnerships, and key growth initiatives.
  • Oversee talent planning, recruitment, and capability development within the region.
  • Monitor performance metrics, budgets, and forecasts to ensure target achievement.
  • Ensure operational excellence, customer satisfaction, and regulatory compliance.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in sales leadership, preferably within the asset management sector.
  • Strong leadership, people management, and coaching capabilities.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills with the ability to drive performance improvement.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, CRM systems, and sales performance reporting.
