Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Area Sales Manager (Renewable Energy Specialist) based in Owerri. The Area Sales Manager will drive sales by developing and managing client relationships, creating and executing sales strategies, and achieving revenue targets. Responsibilities include identifying market opportunities, preparing proposals, conducting negotiations, and delivering presentations on renewable energy solutions. The specialist will also collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure customer satisfaction and project success, while monitoring market trends and competitor activities.
Qualifications
- Proven sales experience, with skills in client relationship management and business development
- Knowledge of renewable energy technologies, particularly photovoltaic and energy storage solutions
- Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Ability to analyze market trends and develop actionable sales strategies
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related field
- Ability to work effectively in an on-site environment and travel as needed for client interactions
- Experience in the energy sector or EPC project management is a plus
