Job summary
Our client is seeking an experienced Area Business Manager to lead sales operations and business growth across an assigned territory. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving revenue generation, managing field sales teams, strengthening market presence, and ensuring the achievement of business objectives within the region.

Sales & Business Growth:
- Develop and execute territory growth plans to achieve revenue and portfolio targets.

- Monitor sales trends and recommend initiatives to improve market penetration.
Team Leadership & Performance Management:

- Support talent development and succession planning within the team
Market Development & Stakeholder Engagement::
- Conduct regular market assessments to identify emerging trends, customer needs, and competitive activities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, partners, and business stakeholders.
- Represent the organization professionally within the assigned market
Reporting & Business Analysis:
- Monitor key sales and operational metrics across the territory.
- Prepare periodic performance reports, forecasts, and market intelligence updates.
- Analyze business results and implement corrective actions where necessary
- Provide management with recommendations to improve business performance and customer acquisition.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with internal teams to support the successful execution of sales initiatives and customer-focused programs.
- Ensure alignment between sales activities and broader business objectives.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in sales, business development, or commercial management.
- Previous experience leading and managing sales teams.
- Experience within financial services, lending, fintech, insurance, or related industries is an advantage.
