Architect

Responsibilities:

Architectural Design & Documentation:

• Prepare full architectural drawing sets (floor plans, elevations, sections, details)
• Develop new building designs based on client/project requirements
• Prepare site plans and landscape plans
• Produce revisions and updates for ongoing projects
• Ensure drawings meet local building codes and zoning regulations

Permit & Review Coordination:

• Review and respond to city/authority plan review comments
• Prepare resubmission packages
• Coordinate with structural, mechanical, electrical, and civil engineers
• Ensure compliance with building and energy codes

Project Development Support:

• Assist with new residential development concepts
• Modify plans to meet evolving requirements
• Provide technical clarifications during construction
• Maintain organized drawing revisions and document control

Requirements:

• Degree in Architecture
• 3–5+ years of experience in residential architectural design
• Strong knowledge of building codes and permit processes
• Experience in preparing landscape plans
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, or similar software
• Strong coordination and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines

Preferred:

• Experience with international permitting processes
• Experience working with development projects
• Knowledge of energy code and site development requirements
• Experience producing construction-ready drawings

Compensation:

• Negotiable (Project-based)
