Job summary
The Accountant maintains accurate financial records, prepares reports, manages accounts payable and receivable, performs reconciliations, supports audits, and ensures compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal controls to support effective financial management.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and general ledger accounts.
- Develop monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
- Perform bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies promptly.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax laws, and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare and file statutory returns, taxes, and related financial schedules.
- Support internal and external audits and respond to audit queries.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cost control activities.
- Maintain effective internal controls and company financial policies.
Requirements:
- 2 years of experience
- Minimum of OND
- Proficiency in accounting software, Microsoft Excel, and strong analytical skills.
