Job Summary

As an Amazon Brand Manager, you will be instrumental in crafting and implementing strategies to enhance brand performance on the Amazon platform. You will be analyzing data to enhance sales and reduce costs, and produce regular reports. Applicants should have at least 3 years in e-commerce and brand management, possess strong analytical and communication skills, and thrive in a fast-paced environment. Key responsibilities include strategic development, daily operations oversight, and team coordination.

Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze Amazon data & metrics to clearly articulate observations and propose strategies to troubleshoot problems. Challenge the data and provide clear and accurate reports to upper management.
  • Day-to-day management of brands/products. This includes: best seller tags, monitoring metrics shifts, understanding market trends, changing customer profiles, demographics, daily reporting, competitive landscape, pricing changes.
  • Develop strategies to increase sales, reduce costs and drive conversion rate of acquired products including: price optimization, PPC, coupons and deals, customer communications, creative, SKU optimization.
  • Produce daily, weekly and monthly reporting for all products, coordinating with the team to ensure we are showing an accurate P&L.
  • Proactively catch issues before they are problems and understand everything about the ecosystem in which your products are selling (e.g., competitor landscape, industry landscape, Amazon marketplace rule changes).
  • Escalate problems in a timely manner.
  • Partner with internal teams to develop effective strategies, share failures & wins, & stay up to date with the latest Amazon strategies.
  • Tracking KPIs on a weekly basis and making proactive diagnostics quickly and accurately.


Requirements:

  • At least 3 years of experience in brand management / P&L management (preferably at a start-up or other fast-paced environment).
  • At least 3 years of ecommerce experience within the Amazon ecosystem (other platform experience is a plus).
  • Ability to dig through data, draw conclusions and make recommendations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, a high level of organization, and impeccable attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle aggressive deadlines and prioritize work in a fast-paced, often ambiguous environment with fire drills coming up on a near-daily basis.
  • A highly analytical self-starter who can manage multiple projects and figure out complex problems without a lot of oversight.
  • Demonstrated ability to create engaging content (listing images and A+ content) in partnership with design team, come up with creative ideas, and think outside the box.
  • Positive attitude, reliable, transparent and enjoy working with different types of people.
  • Strong proficiency in excel or Google Sheets.
  • Proven negotiating skills, influencing abilities, and relationship or account management experience
  • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels of an organization.
  • Working knowledge of Ebay, Big Commerce, Seller Central and other ecommerce platforms.
  • Experience with Trello (or similar tool task management tool).
  • Familiarity with marketing concepts i.e., PPC (on and off Amazon) and email.
  • Demonstrated experience running A/B testing on Amazon or utilizing tools like PickFu (from hypothesis to execution).
  • Experience with SoStocked or similar logistics management tool.
  • Ability to work CST



Preferred:

  • Familiar with email marketing for an e-commerce storefront.
  • Experience managing successful teams for a currently active Amazon business.
  • Motivated towards education on the current ecommerce landscape, current trends, and potential pitfalls.
