We are seeking an Accountant will handle day-to-day financial operations, reporting to the financial manager. He/She will ensure accurate reporting and support budgeting/forecasting for both companies. This role demands precision in a fast-moving agro-processing and FMCG environment.

Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and post daily journals, manage accounts payable/receivable, and reconcile bank statements.
- Maintain accurate ledgers for inventory (cashews, chemicals, finished goods), fixed assets, and production costs.
- Generate monthly financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) under IFRS and Nigerian GAAP.
- Compute and remit statutory payments: VAT, WHT, PAYE, NSITF, Pension, CIT.
- Support monthly stock-taking and cost-of-production analysis for cashew processing and food lines.
- Assist in budget preparation, variance analysis, and cash-flow forecasting.
- Prepare schedules for internal/external audits and tax filings (FIRS, LIRS, NEXIM export incentives).
- Use ERP/Accounting software to track export sales, forex gains/losses, and LC transactions.
- Ensure compliance with NAFDAC financial records and NEPC export documentation.
Requirements:
- Work experience as an Accountant or similar role
- Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures
- Hands-on experience with accounting software like ERP
- Experience with general ledger functions
- Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills
